- Review and confirm contractor names, emails, and tax information to ensure 1099s are filed correctly
- Finalize and submit 1099s along with any other required year end reports by the appropriate deadlines
- Review payroll reports and employee details to confirm W 2s are accurate before they are issued
- Schedule a tax planning or tax preparation call to review last year’s numbers and discuss strategies for the year ahead.
Upcoming Tax Deadlines:
January 15, 2026
- Q4 estimated tax payment due for self employed business owners and pass through entities
January 31, 2026
- 1099-NEC forms must be furnished to contractors
- W-2 forms must be furnished to employees
- 1099-NEC filed with the IRS
- W-2 filed with the SSA
- Most state wage reports also due
